Our Mission

This app and other tools in the pipeline for this toolkit are developed both to provide useful services at a good value. The altruistic motive behind this app is to help fundraise for scholarships toward education of deserving BIPOC students, whether it be in traditional academia, the arts, trades, and technology-based education.

The Inkwell Name

An "inkwell" is a literal tool for writing and documents. However, "The Inkwell" is also the historic name of several iconic beaches and spaces (most famously on Martha's Vineyard) that served as safe havens and vacation spots for Black Americans during segregation. It beautifully bridges document utility with cultural heritage. What we aim to do with Inkwell Tools is provide a vehicle that helps promote excellence from BIPOC individuals and improve educational outcomes for minorities.
