Processed on your device
Merging, splitting, compressing, numbering, quick signing, and watermarking all run inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server for these tools.
We never see your documents
Because those tools run locally, your contracts, statements, and IDs stay with you. There's nothing for us to store, leak, or hand over.
Nothing is retained
For on-device tools, no copies sit on a server waiting to be deleted. When you close the tab, the file is gone from memory — there is no retention window to trust.
No upload wait, no watermarks
Local processing is instant — no upload progress bars — and your downloads are clean, with no watermarks stamped on your work.
The exceptions — stated plainly
A few features can't run locally. PDF to DOCX and Chat with PDF send your document's content to a secure service to do their work. For Chat with PDF, only your document's text is sent — the file itself is never uploaded. For PDF to DOCX, your pages are uploaded to convert them and remain in your app storage.
Seal (hosted signing) is the other one: it uploads and stores your document so each recipient can open it from a private link and sign. That's how hosted signing works — we'll always tell you plainly when a tool isn't fully on-device. We'd rather tell you exactly where the line is than pretend there isn't one.
